Being an artillery gunner is someone that many yearn to be.

THREE more days to POP

THREE more days to POP and I am sooooo happy, AR!

THIRTEEN weeks, in a blink of an eye.
Why is it that now I think of it,
thirteen weeks passes so quickly
but when you are in camp,
time passes so slowly.
Very ironic indeed.

I presume J coy will be BMTC School 1 04/09 BEST company.
Winning GAMES DAYS and NE PRESENTATION says it all.
Being part of the company, I am very proud indeed.
At least the years ahead, I will remember my
BMT experience were spent in the BEST company.
We fought hard, we see results. Very very proud indeed.

The end of BMT marks the start of unit life.
I heard I'm gonna have a hard time in unit..
Keeping finger crossed that's not gonna happen.
18th December. That's the date to look forward to.
Non-combat unit PLEASEEEEEE!

My Letter From Home

I know I've been procrastinating about blogging. Every weekend, I tell myself to jot down some thoughts of the past week in camp but it seems like it didn't happen. I was either busy hanging out or online, not for blogger but hooked on Facebook and catching the latest episode of Heroes and Gossip Girl.

So, field camp. Last week. Spelt the worst six days I ever been through in my entire life so far. I almost forgot there's a adjective call 'dirty' in my dictionary. SIX day. NO shower, NO washing of hands, FULL camou cream 24/6. Now you may ask how I survived, I'll tell you now. It's my letter from home.

On the forth day in HELL, my mind is blank. I'm no better than a walking zombie after one whole day of digging shell scrape aka grave. As if this were not enough, Sirs an Sergeant's fucked and hurried us again and again trying to make the impossibles possible.
Then it was dawn. We were asked to gather and PC starting lecturing us about discipline and all. To keep things simple, it ended up with distributing letters our family had written for us.

I tried very hard to hold back my tears. I failed. My brother wrote 'In this unfamiliar, insecure, dirty, uncomfortable, dark and away from home environment...' Every adjective were damn fucking true. It's as if he was there. Some more, those words of encouragement like 'the whole family is behind you' were so strong that I managed to pull through it. I read it trice. I know I needed that. Everyone needed that.

I love you, Dad Mom and Bro.

Tick Tock Tick Tock

I know I'm suppose to update after my first bookout. Apparently, the short two days of freedom past as if it was two hours. So here I am now, rushing the very last minutes to pen some thoughts before my second book in at 1925.

Army was HELL for me for the first eight days in camp. Opps, I shouldn't be complaining. I'm so bless that Hari Raya fall on the confine week and we got to go home after 8days instead of 14. I bet my post gonna be sooooooo long if I'm confine for the first two weeks.

Regimentation was not my thing even though I been through four years of NCC training in secondary school. As if this is not enough, Sirs and Sergeants are ever vulgar that you get influence and talk rudely like them. I know this is only the start. I still have 10 weeks to go.

I need to have a positive mindset. I'm trying very hard. One thing I learnt from Army so far is I know my mental strength is stronger everyday.

HELLOOOO TEKONG

Time check 1:58am, 11 September 2009.
Jotting down my very last thoughts before enlistment.
I was previously very looking forward to army when friends around me enlisted.
Now that it's my turn, the feeling wasn't the same anymore.
To know that I'm gonna shut from the all world, the feeling SUCKS big time.
But not to worry, I've learnt to be strong and am ready for it.

No FACEBOOK ?
No big deal, I've been playing with it
to the very last minute anyway. HAA!
But I'll have to sadly admit
I'm gonna miss FACEBOOK in no time! ):
Endure.

Some things that I'm looking forward now will probably
be my buddy and bunk mates.
I wonder how will they turn out to be.
Am I lucky enough to meet someone familiar?
I hope...

Oh yes! am currently praying very hard to be in Jaguar company.
Heard about their welfare and all. But mostly importantly,
hbe it Jaguar, Hawk or K_ _ _ _, PLEASE PLEASE

Seems like blogging has lost it's charm.
Well, at least for me.
With FACEBOOK and TWITTER,
I no longer need to blog.
It's so easy to find FAME there now.

It's exactly TWENTY-ONE days before I serve the nation.
I am trying to make full use of the precious days I'm left with,

WEE! Its just another week away!!!

I DEVELOPED A CRUSH on FRED PERRY & AGNUS B ever since I first saw their logo.

I LONGGED for a band new HAIVANNAS ever since the tiny brazil flag of came off from my old one.

I THRIST for a BRAND NEW MOBILEPHONE ever since I lost it yesterday. ):

So thats about it. Short and simple. The last one's clearly a joke. HAA!
A phone is too expensive,

This is EXAGGERATING, I like.

My mom only had one eye. I hated her...
She was such an embarrassment.
She cooked for students &
teachers to support the family.
There was this one day during elementary school
where my mom came to Say hello to me.
I was so embarrassed.
How could she do this to me?
I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out.
The next day at school one of my classmates said,
'EEEE, your mom only Has one eye!'
I wanted to bury myself.
I also wanted my mom to just disappear.
I confronted her that day and said,
' If you're only goanna make me a Laughing stock,
why don't you just die?' My mom did not respond....
I didn't even stop to think for a second
about what I had said, because I was full of anger.
I was oblivious to her feelings.
I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her.
So I studied real hard , got a chance to go abroad to study.

Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own.
I had kids of my own. I was happy with my life,
my kids and the comforts,
Then one day, my Mother came to visit me.
She hadn't seen me in years and
she didn't even meet her Grandchildren.
When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her,
and I yelled at Her for coming over uninvited.
I screamed at her,
'How dare you come to my house and scare my Children!'
GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!'
And to this, my mother quietly answered,
'Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have Gotten the wrong address,'
And she disappeared out of sight.

One day, a letter regarding
a school reunion came to my house.
So I lied to my wife that
I was going on a business trip.
After the reunion,
I went to the old shack just out of curiosity.
My neighbors said that she died.
I did not shed a single tear.
They handed me a letter
that she had wanted me to have.
'My dearest son, I think of you all the time.
I'm sorry that I came to your house

I was so glad when I heard
you were coming for the reunion.

'Longest Entry' so far

With 'Goodbye' by Kristinia Debarge on repeat mode, I'm finally doing something I've haven't been; Blogging. Some updates before I speak about Vietnam. Even since I'm back from holiday, I've haven't been resting much. BANGKOK's just a week later, the week was spent working harder than usual. Needless to say, I had my breather. My facebook stalkers may most probably knew about last Friday's gathering. Meeting up with the Royalties on Friday was awesome. Its really good that we still managed to have never ending conversations when we've not met for so long. I especially like the moment when we tried to recall every single Year One classmates. Wayne beat us all with 'Alphoso'. HAA!

Time check; 10:12PM. Merely 8 hours left before I'm off for for another hiatus in Bangkok. Yes yes yes. I know. Swine Flu. I bought my masks, sterilisers and anti-bacteria shower gels. Enough to ease my paranoia and yours.Last Monday when I was travelling to work, A lady beside reading her TODAY newspaper. Knowing how boring and busybody I am,i browsed through her papers. Big headline, 'Life still goes on' quoted by a Singapore minister. Yes, I'm obliging. I'm STILL going to Bangkok. (:

Anyhow, my 21st birthday's round the corner. 32 more days to be exact. Venue's

confirmed! I'll release more details when I back. I'll just say its gonna be different from last year. (;

'How's Vietnam?', I'll answer you now. The whole of Ho Chi Minh City is like a huge construction site. Old buildings, bumpy roads, littered streets. Yes. Its as bad as you think it is, at least in my opinion. On the contrary, its just a matter of time of getting used to. If Bangkok scored a 5, Ho Chi Minh's probably a 2. However, the attractions in Vietnam's worth the trip. I personally like Cu Chi Tunnel and Mekong River most. Duck walking through the entire 100 metre long tunnel wasn't easy as I thought, but its really exciting, most importantly, unforgettable. On Meking River, nice scenery, clear blue sky.. everything so fine 'cept the mud colour seawater. Very disgusting actually. HAHA

Alright, I haven't been tell friends about this. Too shy to disclose. I was waiting to cross the road while on our way back to hotel, a middle aged Vietnam girl on her pink colour motorcycle stopped in front of me. 'Sir, want massage?' asked her. I got a shock and ran away.
I'm just surprised. Obviously, I'm so much younger than her. Hmm, probably she likes young boys. Come tho think of it.. YUCKS!

FED UUP! Apparently, I've more photos to upload. Bloody 'BLOGGER' didn't allow me. Here it shows photos were uploaded successfully, but nowhere to be found on the template. Tried a zillion times, wasted my precious time! ARGH! I've managed to upload more photos on FB. Its mostly those that I've difficulty uploading it here. Go appreciated my hard work please. (:

As promised, I'm gonna write something of the event.
Needless to say, the concert's AWESOME.
What's more to say when you're the lucky few,
that stood just in front of the stage.
I'm not gonna exaggerate,
I can actually touch GAGA's well-toned thighs!
That's if I were to really lean forward.
All thanks to the metal railing obstacle.

The show was open with the song 'Lovegame'
in her mind-blowing costume.
There's a total of THREE outfits.
TWO BLACKS and finale was YELLOW.
GAGA's sugary breathless voice was a classic.
My love for her reached a whole new level when she shouted..
'YES SINGAPORE, I FUCKING LOVE YOU!'

Thats exactly where we stood. No zoom.
I mentioned earlier about going on holidays.
I've been yearning since the start of holidays.
TWO confirm trips now.
First up, Ho Chin Minh City, Vietnam.
Just another 12 hours time.
FIVE days hiatus.
Hope it's gonna be fun.

School-less, Helpless

Since I bother to post peektures,
let me blog/whine a little, my stalkers.

My application for all three university failed.
Receiving the letters from NUS
and NTU was kinda expected.
I kept my hopes high for SMU.
Keeping fingers crossed,waiting for replies.
When friends around me
received their interview dates,
I'm all the more looking forward.
Then came a number of false alarm calls,
still very much looking forward till yesterday,
when the rejection letter came for SMU.

People console me by saying,'try again next year'.
I know next year's another chance,
but what if I get the same result year after year?
Competition's growing stronger
each year, isn't it?
I failed this year, chances that
I'm gonna get selected for
a mere interview looks even slimmer.
But what to do?
N O T H I N G .
I just ought to laugh at myself..

My Mother's day
was spent a day earlier on Saturday.

Ever since enlistment dates was released,
I lived my days with anxiety.

when all your friends already did.

but later found out he's enlisted to Police Academy.

due to my Pest status being delayed
for further check up.
Now that checkups are done
and I've already been classified in Pest B,
my dear enlistment date just isn't coming.

It is the last day of the week. YEARNING for it since last

Confession of a Workaholic

For those who may not know,
I started working since Thursday.
Working in HSBC,
gave me a brand new image
of what an office job is really about.
People just don't talk.
They stick to their seats,
stared on their CPU,
answer phone calls a little,
and that's it!
To my surprise,
some been doing such
mundane job for over
THIRTY YEARS!
Oh my, get a life.

Friends asked.. any catchy OLs?
Wait. Is it stands for Office Ladies or Old Ladies?
Mine's certainly the second one though.
Who says they aren't catchy for the eyes.
They caught my eye in many ways.
One corner you see this plump woman yelling
at the top of her voice, everyday.
To people who makes unintentional mistakes.
I wonder did she even get married.
Her wrinkled face and body tells me,
___ wants them. And her temper..
oh my, I sympathise her.
Not apologising, this is just nothing but the truths.

And then there were these group of Old Ladies,
carrying Coaches and LVs
Create suspicion of whether the goods are
made in Shenzen or Italy.
Now, there is no fun. No one to ask or
even share my observations.

Back from holidays
means I'm back to reality.
Though it was merely a three days trip,
I feel good, no
it was rejuvenating and pleasuring. HAHA!

Now that I'm back,
I'm back to job hunting.

only to receive replies from few.
Those agencies replied, asked for interviews.
Met up with them, chat a little and...
am back to square one.

Ever since we use MH's Lumix, I haven't been blogging regularly. Photos need time to transfer, lazy to copy from Facebook either. That explains why I've been lagging. Say these are excuses, I'm fine with it. Indeed, it is. Very lazy to upload photos. My picnic with RF was postpone, not I wouldn't know when I can do this. Today was spent sending resumes, facebooking, editing and uploading photos here.

(CRAPS. Read it only when you have time to spare.)

I know I've been lagging of entries. What to do? Camera's down, which equates to 3 long weeks of boredom! Painful isn't it?! I know. It’s long enough for me to disregard I actually own a camera. I didn't realise such a teeny whinny (whatever you spell it) and unnoticeable gadget can create such great impact in me. A lousy writer like me always uses photographs to cover up their weakness in writing, on blog and everything. So last few weeks without it explains why I’m sort of entries. Now that I've got it back, the sudden adrenaline rush to blog about it came about.

I haven't been whining about the issue because I’m spending mundane time past weeks. Mundane enough to be your bed time story. Of ‘cos there are some exciting days going on, but I think the last few projects and examinations in NYP had overshadowed them. It’s always the case that you’re having fun today and then suddenly you reckon there’s projects deadline to meet or semestral exams coming up. I know, it turns people off . Get used to it, I reckon this situation will stay with me for life, at least for now when I’m off to army soon. Weekend’s having fun, weekday is hell, again.

The three long weeks was spent with friend’s replacements. Worth to mention, Ming Hao's LUMIX 10megapixel handy camera installed with the DSLR function. The camera outshine mine, 84754767 times. Yes, Nikon has been named the Number 1 DSLR camera in Singapore, as for their ‘coolpix’ ranges, I bet it rank 13647th. Time to espouse a new camera? I wish.

You see, a common netizen like me roam around the cyber world for hours every day. What I do? Apart from the usual MSN crapping sessions with friends, I browse around for the latest things- music, fashion, gadgets etc etc. And every time something catches my attention, I make a wish, in my heart (Not those that you clench your hands together, shut your eyes, as if your laptop are a birthday cake), just quietly in my heart. I know these wishes WILL come true, with the help from lots of moolah. Yes, I just realise money makes my world goes round. Shallow. Thank you.

Everyone needs to take a breather from projects. We had ours last Saturday. Partied at The Butter Factory the last time before it draws the curtain at Robertson Quay. They are not closing down, laggards. Just moving to a bigger club at One Fullerton.

First day at home after 3 weeks of winter wasn't good. Weather's extremly sunny, so tanning was on the way. As I was about to step out of my house, rain drops started to pour from the sky. Tell me whether to blame myself, or I'm just fated to be ~~fair~~. ):

As promised, I'm going to upload as many photos as possible. This time shall be on Christmas. So Christmas eve was spent performing for the China Students there. Then it was countdown in Diana and Calista's room. How can we miss out exchanging presents.

HAPPY BOXING DAY to all!
So my Christmas eve and day was spent really special this year. The 20 of us performed for the china students. Then there was Santa who carried me, presents exchange, liquors and beers.

China is still cold as usual, but I think I'm adapting ~~really~~ well.
So I've mentioned, we went over to Shanghai last Friday via the bullet train. Train ride to Shanghai from Suzhou was alright. Seats were comfortable, cabin was clean, no complains. Sadly, return to Suzhou was indescribable bad. I don't even dare to take out my camera. 'Pumpkins' were staring throughout the ride, as if we were some kind of ~~animals~~.
Nevermind, pumpkins remain pumpkins, if you get what I mean.
'Nuff said. I'm off to rush reports.

Summary of the week

I finally had time for this. Pictures below are totally expired. Lets start with my FAMILY DAY on Monday's Haji....

We practically spent this festive day eating, eating and more eating... It was Dim Sum at Red Star Restaurant for lunch, then Chili Crab at Toa Payoh for dinner. Slurp!
Love it.

It was Mr Quek's Burthday on Thursday! So happen lessons were cancelled. So here we are, at Jia Hao's for mahjong and celebration.

So Friday was spent with secondary schoolmates. Dinner at Aston, and managed to catch the sneak preview of Twilight. For those who has been a fan, I afraid it may disappoint you. No point telling the reason 'cos I know you'll still go catch it. Don't say I didn't warn you.... (:

It is hours away before my Suzhou/Shanghai Study Trip. I'm not excited as expected, but still thankful that I'll be taking a break. Lets just hope it shall be a safe and pleasant one. I will be posting plenty of photographs, so no worries, friends. Alright, BYE for now. (:

I was invited by _ to attend ZIRCA mega club opening on THURSDAY night. The queue that night reminds me when I first clubbed at MOS. It was TTTTHHHHHAAAAATTTTTT long. Forget it if you were to ask me to queue for that entry. Being in the guestlist wasn't anywhere better. We waited for half an hour for our entry too.
Anyway, for those who's still living in history, MOS had closed down and now comes ZIRCA. Bumped into Eve and Rachel. Clubbed with them a while, camwhored longer. HAHA!
Nothing has changed 'cept they took down Smooh and combine with the main arena. Gentlemen, if you're under 21, forget about ZIRCA. Its okay, there's nothing special anyway. But for those who consider women with heavy make-ups and skimpy clothing a hottie, sad to say there's countless of them you gonna miss. Wait till you're 21, go in and 'explore yourself, probably they're still in the club searching for their millionaires. HAHA! Opps, no. Probably ZIRCA is close by the time you turn 21.

For those who haven't check out Wayne's and Stacy's blog, last Friday was especially special. It the ROYAL FAMILY meet up day. ROYAL FAMILY remains loyal to each other. We went to explore North Point, had lunch at the Japanese theme foodcourt and went for movies at AMK HUB. Quarantine was scary yet exciting. Just a pity not any characters manage to survive. Next movie was Madagascar. This animation is worth your money. Its funny and warmth. Those who hated animation, give yourself a chance. Go catch it. I'm sure you'll laugh out loud. (:

We were scheduled to work half day last Saturday.
Mich got random and say 'Shall we go Science Centre later?'
And so we were there.
Whens the last time I been there?
Primary 1? No. I think it was Primary 2.
Oh my, I can't even remember.
All I remembered was playing Mirror Maze and Stimulator ride in the centre.
Sadly, it was not there now.
Entry ticket priced at $6 is worth the trip.
There are so many interesting exhibits to discover.

Last Sunday was Jun Hua's birthday celebration at Aston, The Cathay.
Unexpectedly, food in Aston was cheap and good.
That explains why there's always a queue outside the restaurant.

MACDONALD Birthday Party, how cool was that.
We had such a great time being a kid!
Together with the party planner, we played a modified version of 'Musical Chair', and some random card game.
Losers get 'clipped' up. Blame on my luck, I got the forfeit during 'Musical Chair'.
LX joined me in the next game. Muahahahaa!
He's worst! He was 'served' by the bunch of Gossip girls!
Then, we had Happy Meal, sang Happy Birthday and then it was cake smashing!!

Anyway, it was really a great party. Everyone had so much fun.

All of us were bloated and we only managed to finish half of the cake.

Facebook is entertaining, not till you catch the following dramas and Reality TV show. These are the current dramas and reality shows that I'm hooked to, especially Gossip Girl. It's good that more and more peeps heard of this drama. This is sucha hottie.
It is Sex and the City's fashion mixed with The OC's very complicating love relationship.
You will especially love it if you are a Gossip Girl. lol

So, season 5 of Project Runway is out. Though the contestants are not as favorable compared to season 4, I still manage to spot one favourite out of the 15.

Because GG and PR5 is only shown once a week, I make use of 'waiting time' to watch this Hong Kong drama, 家好月圆. This drama is super entertaining. The jokes they made, the fights and quarrels they had, glued my eyes to the TV set for hours! I catched episodes after episodes and I set a record of catching 5 episode contineously. Hahahaa!
Watch this, it's damn good. Don't believe, ask Eileen Tiong. lol!

Oh ya, haven't I say Desperate Housewives and Heroes are BACK with a new season! Shall catch that once I finish the curent dramas.

Cineleisure for movie thereafter.
One word to describe the movie - DRAMATIC.
I had a very good laugh for this movie. The actions are soooo funny.

We met up again the next day for some retail therapy. This time, it's just the Four HANDSOMES. lol
We shopped from Wisma to Taka, Taka to Paragon, Paragon to Heeren and end up in Cineleisure for dinner.
How can we end the night with just a dinner?!
'Cos not! We went Balcony for some alcohol consumption and soccer cum F1 racing watching.

I haven't been blogging about my internship 'cos it too mundane to be talked about. So, since my last weekend was spent aimlessly, I shall blog about my internship then.

My only motivation to work is Michelle Sin. This girl is a born entertainer. You will never believe how frank and honest she is to you. lol. Time flies with her around.
Haa. I may sound like I can't live without her in work, but in fact it's the other way round. LOL.

So last SUNDAY was Avril Lavigne's concert.
Louis, Minghao and I attended.
It was AWESOME!
Avril's pretty, punkish and stylish and her voice was undoubtedly powerful!
I'm starting to fall for her ready! lol
Though the 80mins concert was considered short, it was enjoyable.
Those pool of luminous lightsticks was breathtaking. Its like thousands of fireflies in different colours flying around the stadium.
What's more?! These concert was attended by sooo many hot caucasians. Those hot denim shorts they wore to run around the stadium was _. It was a great pre-entertainment before the show. lol

HOLA! okay guys, NO more boredom, new entry is up! Haha! This whole week was SOOOOOO dead for me. I'm stuck to this mundane routine. Everyday seems pretty the same to me. Wake up at 7am, leave home at 8, start my internship from 9 and drop dead tired by the time it ends at 6. IPP kills hard. The five of us struggles with the all the procedures and codes that needs to remember. My highly paid allowance pays a farking high price.
Knowing that my fellow classmates are so carefree and 'enjoying' life, working with no brainer task envies me. You see, many of them are either just doing data entry, wrapping some kindergarten textbook or just surf the net, visiting my blog every now and then for new entry. (LOL. Don’t be angry peeps, I’m just trying to make some entertainment here. (: ) What's for me?! Training, training and MORE training! Its soooo difficult that we ALMOST wanna give this all up.
So tomorrow I'll have a test of what I learnt for the past two weeks. I've got to score at least 80marks to pass this test. To be frank, ‘m really worried. 80/100 is really high. The last time I scored more than 80 probably was in my primary school? I can't even recall.
God, just advise some cheating technique for me please.

Okay, stop bragging and back to topic..

MingHao asked me what's my plan on the day and I couldn't answer.
For now, I'm just gonna leave everything behind until end of PR presentation on Tuesday.

Hectic Friday

Last Friday was a 'BLAST!'
It was hectic but fun at the same time.
12pm: Reached school for project discussion
1pm: Rushed down to School of Design. Was asked to model for a drawing class.
Sounds fun, so I went.
We changed and took lots of pictures with the 'Traveller' theme outfit.
I thought it was ~~cool~~.
It was in the beginning, not until...
Can you imagine I need to go down on one knee to 'propose' to Wendy for half fucking hour?
I advise you not to try. The numb was ...(indescribable). Trust me.
The next pose was a breeze compare to the kneeling one.
Haha! 'nuff grumbling, it was a great experience though. (:
3.30pm: Back with friends and celebrated Wen Zhao's birthday.
5pm : NAPFA Test.
8pm: Dinner at Yio Chu Kang.
